Roche Bobois unveils an exciting new collaboration with fashion icon Jean Paul Gaultier
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Roche Bobois is delighted to unveil an exciting collection of furniture designs created in collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier, France’s most revered and much-loved ‘enfant terrible’ of the fashion world. Reflecting Gaultier’s trademark originality, playfulness and wit, the new designs will delight and entertain while also impress with the meticulous attention to detail found in the craftsmanship and construction of each hand-finished piece.
When asked to compare the processes of designing clothes to designing furniture Gaultier explains:
“I only know how to design clothes, so in a way I ‘dressed’ the furniture.”
A further evolution in the long-standing core expertise of Roche Bobois in fine upholstery the collection offers a celebration of high glamour.
