Frozen Yoghurt madness

Snog (a colloquial British term for "kiss") was the first frozen yogurt brand to hit British shores and Snogging mania has swept the island nation with its bold name and brand concept. The quirky but inviting environment was inspired by "The Eternal Summer;" to make customers feel positive and put a smile on their faces......Fancy a snog?

Mini lighting "seminar"

Decorative lighting is something like "architectural jewellery", with that in mind I came across three light fittings that are wonderfully weird but that can transform a space into something completely out of the ordinary. The central concept of good lighting is that a change in the light will affect a change in our moods and experience. We should carefully choose the correct light fittings for any space because light can define movement within a space, expose colours and textures.

Impressively different and unique Hotels'

Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam Zaandam, Netherlands

Just twelve minutes on train from Amsterdam, Zaandam was the world's first area of industry and, thanks to Dutch architects-WAM architecten, it's rich history is being translated in a thoroughly modern way with their fantastically unique design for Inntel Hotels' new property. Using the iconic green wooden houses of the Zaan region, and the assumption that a hotel is your temporary home,as inspiration - Wilfried van Winden has created a truly unique structure by creating the illusion that various examples of these traditional houses, ranging from a notary's residence to a worker's cottage, are randomly stacked upon one another...

The Betulla store in Rome

Carola Vannini is an interior architect based in Rome. Her approach to design stems from her diverse international experiences and respect for the use of existing contemporary architectural languages. Her design strikes a balance between the best of old and new.

The Betulla store is a wide space where fashion meets architecture. Clothes, colors and materials all melt in order to create a magic flair that reminds of northern lands. Grey concrete and rough wood, cover the walls while contrasting with the floor’s total white. Clothes are hung on an iron structure and look like precious sculptures emphasised by the rough walls veneering. How beautiful?

Moroso

Since 1952 MOROSO has been designing its sofas, armchairs and accessories with well-known designers such as Ron Arad, Carlo Colombo, Enrico Franzolini, Marc Newson, Toshiyuki Kita and Patricia Urquiola.
I visited Moroso’s London showroom the other day and met Steen Olsen, Country Director of Moroso Ltd. In a very friendly atmosphere, Steen introduced me to the world of Moroso and all its wonderful furniture items.
I have made a selection of several pieces that I think are uniquely made and designed. Patricia Urquiola’s Bohemian collection gives a contemporary touch to the classic capitoné and the Bouquet armchair designed by Tokujin Yoshioka leaves you with a scent of freshness and a romantic atmosphere. The armchair I am sitting in is from the Diesel-Moroso collection where large cushions upholstered in leather define its shape and support the unique comfort. Too comfy for words to describe....
